With the aim to process and export high quality coco peat and its by-products, Mr. B Green entered the coco peat industry in 2013. Our company made its presence in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. We have crafted a coco peat based growing media for soilless cultivation (hydroponics) both in the open and under protected environment (greenhouse).
We have the expertise to manufacture a wide range of Coir Fiber, Coconut Peat Blocks, Coco Products, Coir Geo Textiles, Door Mats and Coir Products. Our 100% organic products have earned us certifications from reputed boards such as Coir Board, Coconut Development Board, APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) and the Spices Board of India. The infrastructure we possess is the strength of our organisation. We have our factory located in Madurai and Pollachi.

All the raw materials for manufacturing are procured from reliable vendors. Our facility is divided into different departments to facilitate smooth production. We have a washing and drying yard, well-managed warehouse, packaging segment and logistics facility.
Our infrastructure is our strength. We have a smooth and well-managed production facility that helps us respond to bulk orders. We are equipped with modern tools and equipment. We have a large number of de-husking equipment at our facility. After de-husking, the husk is used to manufacture a large number of coir products. We have 5 kg block making machine and 650 gram briquette making machine. We also have an organised department to handle every stage of production such as washing, drying, screening, compaction and packaging.
The coir pith or coco dust obtained as a by-product from the coir industry is transported to our factories and is stored under clean and hygienic conditions for ageing. It is then washed and dried on concrete floors in a natural way. We have also developed a large warehouse to store procured items and finished products. The advanced facilities in our storage unit help us maintain the freshness of the agro-products and prevent them from perishing. We also have a well-managed logistics team that ensures quick transportation of the client’s orders.
The coir dust obtained as a by-product from the coir industry is transported to our factories and stored under clean conditions. It is then washed and dried on concrete floors. The material is then sieved to different fractions and compressed into coco peat bricks, bales and other products. The manufacturing of coco peat substrates and products is done without the addition of chemicals.
The manufacturing process of coco peat involves the following steps:
Raw material : Coconut husk is the raw material for coir products. The husk is 100% natural and organic. The raw materials are collected from our own fiber mill. The first step is to sieve the raw materials to remove fine particles, seeds, weeds and other foreign particles. By doing this, the air porosity around the root improves and there are chances for better growth.
Washing : The raw material is washed with fresh water in order to reduce the EC levels.
Drying : The squeezed material is then dried in the drying yard in the most natural way possible. Indirect hot air driers are also used. The drying process is undertaken in a concrete yard. At this stage, the materials are tested for moisture. To be compacted, the substrate must have a precise humidity rate. Once the material reaches the moisture level, it is ready for screening.
Screening : In this process, screeners and sand separators are used to remove any outside substance if present in the dried material. Then the material will be ready for compaction.
Compaction : The peat is compressed for bailing. This is accomplished by block making machine and briquette making machine.
Packaging : The final stage is packaging. The product is packed as per customer specification in pallets or bundles.

To ensure product homogeneity, each department has a laboratory that carries out regular checks throughout the production process. Our finished products are tested on various parameters such as electrical conductivity, pH value, air filled porosity % and water holding capacity %.
